yes ive searched.....not enough information...i want to know how much gain i would get from ctr cams in a stock b16 2nd gen........stock header, intake....with stock internals....thanx....

 

about 5-7 whp.

with other mods these cams will produce good hp gains. but all stock isn't going to help much.

 

i use skunk2 stage 1's with some tuning and gained about 15whp. they a little more pricey but they feel great when vtec kicks in. i have my vtec set at 5200rpms, it seems to be the optimum engagement point. all motors are different so ur local tuner should be able to find the best for u. hope i helped u at all.

the power the cams make is totally dependant on the header and tuning you have. i bet a CTR cam could make 8-10 hp on a hytech ehader

 

Don't forget compression helps cams make power

 

what ecu chip do you guys reccomend for pr3 w/ ctr cams? what about vtec crossover point?

thats a god dyno, imade 156 ith JDM DC 4-1 2.5 exhaust and skunk2stage1 with some minimal tuning.

u need a VAFC/FPR or something to tune a/f before the cams go in or you wont behappy

well, i dont have anything to tune it with the exception of cam gears,

its pointless unless you at least have a bigger header and exhaust to breath, otherwise you might gain 5 whp from them.

so what about the CTR's then?!?!?!

 

I had nothing to tune them w/and noticed a Diff rightaway.

who they hell told you that nonsense? why would stage 1 not idle correctly, when the stage II idles perfectly fine? the only one that idles rough is the stage III from skunk2. even when my my friend vu (al bundy) had his jun III those idled perfectly fine w/ absolutly no tuning

 

hopefully i will notice something at least......im not expecting a **** load b/c obviously im running bone stock basically......onlything done is a basic tune, cap rotor, plugs wires **** like that and 2 1/4 in piping with exhaust....other than that ....its stock.... thanx fellahz

 

how much do stage 1 skunk 2 cams cost?

 

you can get brand new ones for about 680-700...used for about 600, i know of a guy selling stage II cams w/ cam gears for 650, thats a hell of a deal

stop talking idiot and you wont look any worse. i HAVE skunk2 stage 1's and they WILL NOT idle without fuel correction. now if you dont have anything important to say, stop talking

BTW this is my dyno with the stage 1 cams and not enough tuning. i have over 160whp now but do not have a dyno to show : /
