for some odd reason my 89 dx with 118k is fast all it has is a straight pipe that i cobbed together and an intake and it beat a 98 bw2 kit tic tac orange dx coupe with 17s i/h/e and a 2000 ex that had intake and axleback with 16 inch rota slips with awesome tires that hook up and dont spin........ and both cars have good drivers and im not that great..... so the question is should i just build the motor i got get a better intake and headers and a full exhaust and do soem internals work ....or should i get a zc and work with that cause i might be able to get a zc fairly cheap off a friend whos dad is buildin him a sick b16 for his 89 hatch that has a fully molded kit , 16s, cross drilled disk brakes all the way around, i/h/e and this kid doesnt even have his liscense and his dad drives a blue rsx with a apexi exhaust and a front lip so besides all this extraBS i typed what should i do...?

Hey, I do have ADD and I would take offense but I forgot what we where talking about... Ummm... Do a MPFI or Mini-Me swap unless you wana go Bseries...

 

your dx is most likely not fast. i agree you gotta go mpfi or minime if you wanna make any power with that D15

 

I'm sorry, but a D15B2 with a straight pipe and an intake is still slow as ***. Do a swap. I still consider my car slow (see times in sig).
