i went with act. you want the heavy duty pressure plate (not the "xtreme") and the "street" disc (no pucks for you). #AI4-HDSS

act all the way...i've got the extreme pressure plate w/ street/strip disc but you only need the heavy duty pressure plate w/ basic bolt ons.

I needed a new clutch at 18k miles! But then again I did have a JRSC so....

I recommend that you get a light weight flywheel while you are doing the clutch. It only makes sense since you are going to have it out anyway.

Here are your two options:

If you want a pucked clutch, DEFINATELY go with a ClutchNet 6puck (sprung hub) and the HD pressure plate.

If you want a disc clutch, the ACT street disc is great w/ a HD pressure plate.

You can't go wrong on this setup.

hey everyone,
im doing an ls/vtec setup and im going to be using a gsr tranny and im confused on what clutch to get. someone told me that the clutchmasters stage 3 is a great clutch and ACT clutches suck. so i need your opinions of owners out there. im going to have basic bolt ons.

thank you
