most people's short answer: keep stock if you have no problems. only buy new ones to jazz things up/for show. new wires make a little more sense with forced induction(aka "fi") and/or with after market ignition type stuff. some people (like me) have switched from plat. to copper plugs for their gsr. they don't last as long though, if that's a concern. what's "orr"? i'm making a list of abbreviations.

Keep the stock ones.I had a chance to look at Chris Rados car.He uses the stock wires. He is also making 799@the wheels. If they can perform at that sort of power out put none of us are going to need anything more.

If you have a chance to go to any of the import drags walk right up to the car and look for yourself. He actually claimed they made more power than any of the others he had tried. When the Gainesville import drag was here he came to a friends shop to dyno his car and hang out for the night. You would be suprised at the set up he is using. Not as complex as everyone here would like to think. That night he made a low boost drag on the dynojet @15 psi he made 584whp with STOCK PLUG WIRES.He attemted to make a high boost pass(somewhere in the nieghborhood of 36 psi)and his tranny came apart.

I have a new set of Magnecore's, but I would not change wires unless you need them. Money is better spent elsewhere. I bought the Magnecores, because the longevity with them is supposed to be pretty good. I had my last set of wires fail a couple of days ago. I think my 1500 mile road trip may have had a part in that
