Ok, well...i've had every engine except an h22 in my various hatchbacks. Right now i'm boosted SOHC...but i'll be movin on again soon.
I've been looking into the h22 for a while, and almost did it allready...but backed out.
so..the question...what's it taking you guys to get around 245whp out of them? I know the new pistons are out...well, RLZ can get them for me, but what else are ppl doing?
i'm thinking some eagle rods, stock sleeves with the drop ins, m2s4 tranny or whatever it is, brad's headwork (only the best here), and not sure what else. I guess the skank2 mani will go on too.....
so, what setups are out there....in any car

I am building a h22 w/ h23 crank/rods, type s pistons, ported head, and jun FW. I know I won't be at the 245whp that you are looking for but it should be plenty streetable. Id do a search, there are are 2 or 3 on this board with setups producing the # you are looking for.
you wont be able to run custom forged pistons w/o resleeving the block.
i believe someone in the prelude forum is running some weisco pistons that have a special coating and he didnt have to resleeve. i'd check into that if you dont want to resleeve.
