Well ive gone through 2 coils in my distributor in my car in the past week. First it starts off ill just be cruising down the road, the car starts to sputter, about 10 minutes later itll just die like its run out of gas. I pull the plugs and check for spark then there is none. I let it sit and cool down for about 1/2 hr then itll start right up, and just die again after about 5 mins. What would cause it to keep on frying coils????

 

was the last mod done to your car electrical related or even related to the distributor. May be a short.

 

Yes infact the last thing i did was install my V-AFC
