Default Accord shutting off ? Early Redline ? Help*******

I just picked up an 92 Accord Wagon and it has a couple of problems just wanted to know if anyone can help me out.

It doesn't start sometimes mostly when it's hot out. To get it to start you have to give it gas and crank it.

It also shuts of when you come to a stop too after driving it.

The other problems is it seems to bump at the redline at only 4,000 RPM's?

Right now I haven't done anything to it and I haven't tested anything.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

My car is doing something similar as well, its cutting out at ~52xx rpms when it fully warms up, i've replaced the coil and the ignitor. I've tracked it down to my stock fpr i believe, i'm getting a new one this week to see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the replies

I am going to try replacing the coil and see what happens.

Hopefully you can keep me updated on the car and see what fixes the problem with the rpm limit.

Any CELs?

Make sure your ecu is plugged in all the way, too. It's kindof hard to troubleshoot without knowing more.

My 01 accord had a bad oil pressure sensor telling me that my redline was at 4000. Since the sensor thought the pressure was high my vtec was constantly on.
