Default getting complete sir change over, what else is needed please help.

im thinking of getting the complete sir I change over from HMO. since its comming from a civic im guessing the mounts will work. what about the axels? and the linkage.. well this is what it comes with let me know what else i need. it would be going into a 88-91 si or hf.

- Motor
- Cable Tranny (Y1, S1, J1)
- ECU (PR3, PW0)
- Axles with Half Shaft
- Shift Linkage*
- Stock Motor Mounts*
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness
- Comes With All Sensors Needed
- LSD Tranny (Optional +$300)

what else is needed to make it run? anything i should change before it becomes a problem?

You'll need hasports, or place racing, or whatever brand you prefer for mounts. A clutch would be a good thing to put on since you will have the engine out of the car and changing the clutch with the engine in isnt all that fun. Then you'll also want to do all the basic tune-up stuff.

you have 950 posts and don't know that already? where have you been?!

no, stock sir mounts will not work. try to find a set of mounts that will let you use the front mount, rather than cut the mount off the front crossmember to clear the exhaust.

don't get cheap ones, you could have problems. look on ebay for a good deal on some hasport billet mounts. they bling, and they give you great placement of the engine in your bay.

oh, and that SiR linkage will not work for you either. it will need to be cut and welded to fit (shortened between 2-3"), or you could buy a pre-cut and welded Hasport linkage for a couple hundred bucks.

i say just stick with hasports mounts and linkage. they are located in phoenix so most of the shops around here sell them for pretty cheap. If you need a set let me know.

hey thanx alot man. as of right now im in major self mental debate on weather to get a rex or get an eg. i love them both. and they each have many things i like about them.

i can get the rex now and the b16 swap immediatly

or get the eg. do suspension/wheel int/ext. and exhaust then save some money for the h22 i dream about....

looks like im leaning towards eg. but i like to know as much info about swaps and prices etc. for both.

I think if you searched you will find a lot of useful info, but I'll help you out.

I got my HCP mounts from jdmshit.com great prices, fast shipping and it came with the aluminum billet drivers side mount. I only paid 225 though, maybe the price went up.

I put a b16 into an EF hatch so I'm not sure if the rex is different, i doubt it.

You will need a rear tranny mount from a 90 -93 teg along with a throttle and clutch cable off a 90 -93 teg as well. The linkage that comes with the swap can be used as mentioned but it has to be cut and welded.

ya ive been there. i think your missing something but first of all when dont believe everything u read. especially when the site says right there"According to my resources"

either way

for the ys1 tranny... the JDM 92-93 Integra RSi did have optional lsd.
but not the xsi. those didnt.

just because they are in the same column doesnt mean they both had optional lsd.

the only ysi tranny that had optional lsd is the one that came in the 92-93 rsi.

it wasnt even an option for the xsi.

im not saying the site is wrong. but u read into it wrong.

Is the H22 going into an EF or EG???? I say go with whatever set-up you've always dreamed about, but if I you seriously wanted an H22 i would go EG. B18c (or any B series) for the EF.
