Default d16a6 or d16z6?

alright guys check this...i blew my motor like 3 months ago and i havent been driving my car due to no engine....i found a d16a6 in good condition for $200. Should i get it or look a little longer for a z6?

What model civic do you have?

mainly depends. A6 is a strong motor but is non-OBD (obd0).


D16Z6 is EX/Si motor and would probably suit you better being OBD1.

d16z6...converting to obd-0 would be a pain in the ***...
