Default tailgate light problems...

I'm looking for some opinions....

My Tailgate lights (including reverse or backup light) are not working, i have check'd the wiring from the tailgate to where it goes under the carpet.

All is well.

-bulbs has been changed for assurance
-is there any other fuse i can check?

any ideas would be greatly appreciated..TIA

JON

i can live without it, unfortunately.... I have to get the car inspected here in NJ and i'd rather not pay $100+ for an inspection sticker...

thanks for the replies...

What year is your vechicle?

Check to see if all other lights are working..
Example. the brake lights are attached to your horn so if you press your horn does it work?
Also check your Dash lights.. do they work.. they are attached to your tail lights.

Check fuse # 15 (7.5A) Under hood
Check Fuse #19 (10A) Under Dash

ok man, there are 2 little boxes in the taillights that tend to go bad. the main harness connects to it. change those.
