95 Accord won't come out of drive. HELP!
Well my sisters car won't come out of park, it'll come out when you use the key to unlock the shifter but not unless you do that. I'm assuming there is some type of interlock or relay that tells the transmission whether or not the brake is on and allows you to shift outta drive and that maybe it has gone bad. So what do you guys think? Is this a common problem? Thank you very much for any help!

A blown fuse could do it too.

The problem sounds like the SHIFT SELECTER SWITCH located under the console below the shifter. When it goes bad ... it does not let the shifter know that you are trying to come out of park when you step on the brake. You can see a picture of it here ... (it is part #2)
