I was just wondering why nobody seems to just get the full JDM OEM exhaust system, including the 4-1 header, cat, and cat-back exhaust. Wouldn't this accomplish everything in one bang...the 2.5" collector, the perfectly matching cat, and a perfectly matching exhaust.

Wouldn't this just be a straight swap on our USDM ITRs, assuming the JDM cat has an O2 bung in the same position?

 

The japanese cat-back system is almost the same as the US/European one. Only a little bit longer because the JDM cat is smaller.

 

USDM and JDM are probably not the same, as the cat ID is different. At the very least, the b-pipe has to be different. I expect the muffler is the same.

I was thinking the same thing, but nobody seems to import the whole thing. I would like to know if the JDM b-pipe has the bottleneck that the USDM one does due to the smaller diameter cat. If so, that would be sweet. I'm having my b-pipe welded up with an adapter from SMS to match my cat and remove the bottleneck.

Not sure about the second 02 sensor.
