Leaking coolant HELP
For the past couple days i notice that my car was leak coolant, but it was only a few drops here and there, but this morning when i woke up i go to my car and theres ythis huge green puddle under it, i look under the car and i see it leaking from the lower part of the engine block. does anybody have any suggestions on how fix this and how bad is it to be laeking from there, and by the way its a 5th gen
what lower part of the engine block ?? if it is from the side where the belts are then it is a water pump and if it is from the tranny side then it is likely a hose
I just got finished inspecting it more thoroughly and found out it is coming from the upper part of the tranny, it look like its coming from a bolt on top of the tranny, any suggestions?
Trans doesn't have any water cooling. It's likely your lower radiator hose, heater hose, bypass hose.
Remove inlet duct and inspect closely around the thermostat housing.
W/ a big leak it should be easy to locate.
good luck
