custom exhaust...

buy any universal muffler you want and take it to a good custom exhaust shop. they will be able to make the rest of the exhaust system for you........

not to hate, but do not go with a ghetto exhuast like this guy is talking about, they make cat-backs for your car, dont waste you money on making a ricey sounding exhuast that doesnt look nearly as clean as a pre-made cat-back. if your trying to find a 3in exhuast. Try Thermal, they make 3in exhuasts for tegs, if they dont have it, buy the N-1, i know they make that for a 4-door teg. And i have heard the N-1 exhuast flows really well. dont buy a universal muffler, dont waste your money, you allready have the engine done up really nice, dont finish it off with a crappy exhuast.....

a nice cat-back, with similar N1 looks w/out the N1 sound is a 5Zigen exhaust

it's fits perfect on my sedan

In addition it is 2.38" diameter, compared to 2.36" diameter for the N1. Also unless your running extremely high boost pressures (which I doubt w/ a JRSC). A 3 in. exhaust is not necessary.

The one i got was off of a 4 door ls. He moddifed from a 2 door to a 4 door and i had to get moddifed from a 4 door ls to 4 door gsr because theres about 6 inch different in the hangers. Look good sounds great.

Exhausts for the 2 door LS will also fit the 4-door LS. If you don't mind the exhaust tip being back farther from the rear of the bumper (as in nestled right up to the muffler rather than having a 4-inch extension between the muffler and the tip.)

not to hate... a custom exhast will be just as good if not better than cat back. It would cost less to do a custom one and most likely flow better if you are using mandrel bent exhaust, a cat back is not the "best" way to go.. if you go to a shop that knows what they are doing a "crappy" custom exhaust will put out more than a cat back from a company.

I agree with this. If I were in your shoes, custom would be the way I'd go. If you're afraid of it being "ghetto" for some reason, and you have to have a pre-fabbed catback, any of them will fit. Worst case scenario...you'll have to get it lengthened a little bit. No big deal.

thank you.. someone who knows whats up

A custom job can be tailored to your car and the output you want... whereas a catback will only be a cookie cutter exhaust.

apex'i makes a 94-97 gsr sedan exhaust for 600, i believe. If not, just get a good 3" in and out muffler, and do a custom mandrel-bent exhaust. It'll cost a lot less, and give just as much power gain as a pre-fabbed one. Heck, my exhaust for my sedan cost 300 bucks (220 for the muffler, 80 for piping), and it sounds and looks better (IMO) than a lot of other exhausts I've seen.

The only 3" cat-back exhaust system that I know of for the 4dr 3G Integra is the Thermal Turbo Exhaust System. The A'pexi WS and N1 have only 60mm piping. If you don't like the Thermal sound and expensive price, grab a 3" N1 universal muffler and get custom 3" mandrel bend piping at a reputable shop near you.

if you dont care about having a fart cannon sound to your exhuast go with the custom one from an exhuast shop, sure it can flow nice, but it will be louder, and as far as ive heard, alot more raspy, spitting, no real tone to it, just noise. then if you dont want piping that will rust out, make sure you spend the extra and get stainless steel tubing. on my previous car the welds have rusted out on the custom exhuast. just make sure you dont do it rice.
