I think a 70MM TB would be overkill on a street N/A setup

i was told it is 64mm. seems to match up with my 64mm jg tb. would have been nice if it was a little biger or at least flared at the opening. would have been nice if there was instructions!

Yeah, I believe the sk2 mani is 64mm, I am running a 70mm itr tb that tapers down to a little over 64mm. It did make a difference which I could feel, but I have not tuned and dyno'd my car yet.

nobody has a true 70 mm (at the base TB)... the skunk2 manifold is same as ITR which is 64 mm.

BTW, couple of my friends are picking on the skunk2 GSR manifolds so i'm doing a mini group buy. if anyone is looking for them in the next week drop me an email frank@b16a.com. also pickup some engine goodies cams/gears/springs/retainers...

does that mean the Intake manifold will not have to be port matched. This means that where my aem CAI hooks up is 70 then gets tapered down to 64 to bolt on to the IM with no machining?

whoa, blast from the past! og frank! saw you a lot hangin at group-a back in '97. can you nag dave, steve, etc. to type up some freakin intructs for the gsr s2im? many are left scratchin their head over what to do with the evap purge control solenoid valve as just one example. we need it spelled out what's obsolete and the optimum vacuum line layout is. (hey, maybe i should just call them... )
anyway, are you saying none of the monster (68-70) tb's are true (at the base) including the billet pieces (like the holley68)?
