I know that bugs and crap can get onto the wet paint and look crappy but I could care less as it's only to put them on my car so I don't look stupid driving around with different color side skirts. Can anyone tell me if I need to be careful as over-spray can go onto cars around my driveway?

What are some precautions I should look into if I plan on doing this?

I'll be using a real spray gun, an SATA one to be exact, air compressor, professional paint, etc.

You should NOT do that outside unless you absolutely have too. You can get overspray all over the cars around, the houses, and etc. The best way to do it, is to do it in your garage. If you really want to get extreme, you can put plastic up all over and enclose your self in it so it's kinda like a paint room. That way there is no wind, and nothing will blow onto your wet paint like dirt, and grass, and etc...
