did i blow a shock!?!?!? i really dont know what happend i had 1 year old konis yellows on there and i hope it didnt blow. what happend the whole left side just dropped to the ground?
I don't think this has anything to do with your shocks/struts. It has to do either with your springs breaking or something to do with your shock mounts.
If you had blown shocks and everything else was fine..the car would just bounce a lot and the handling of the car would be noticeably degraded.
Good luck and let us know what it turns out to be.

the thing is i didnt even hit anything. i just came out side and saw the front left side slammed to the rim. so what happened u think. i have no klu. what should i do
well if the car dropped it has to be spring related. the shock doesn't hold the car up. my guess would be the bottom spring seat that isattached to the shock/strut broke or came loose and the shock is now all the way compressed and that part of the car is being held up by the shock/strut
good luck
good luck
the retaining clips on the konis will break easily, and the collars will just drop over the c clips.. Has happened to my car several times, either by hitting a pothole, or just doing of the racetrack at high speeds..
*OR* it could be a ball join. My old manager's Civic Si did this at the 1/8 drag strip he was at. Ball joint gave out as he started to go and the car literally fell to the ground. Tore his fender up pretty good.
