they offered it in a DIN size with switchable illumination to match your headunit and a trim plate offered in black if you don't like the silver stuff. But with the Apexi, where do people mount them? I'm looking into getting a VTEC controller. I'll probably end up getting a Field's first because it's simplier and I can mount it below the radio......

 

i mount mine right on top of the thing where mirror connected to. Had to crazy glue that bitch up there

People mount them in all kinds of places. In that space under the radio (using a fabricated adapter), above the rear view mirror, on the sun visor, on the center console both over and below the shifter, in the spot the clock goes in, and on the steering column.

my friend took out the ash tray and put it there..fits if u cut the lighter a little bit..not much..looks real nice..i too am trying to figure out where to put mine.

 

My R has a little change drawer thing on the left side of the steering column, maybe it could go there. A little out of the way though
