i just traded for a 90 dx with a a6 swap, the kid said changing out to a first gen teg ecu i would be able to rev higher and blah blah blha so he changed it right there for me when we traded, and the engine light came on i don't know when it did, but it came on after he changed that, and at stop lights it idles between 1k and 1.7k it has a lumpy sound high idle is this cuz he changed to a dohc ecu?
Running the a6 with an 89 integra ecu should only cause the a6 to run rich not throw a code. Is he sure the it is a 1g integra ecu? And why would you re the a6 any higher than stock unless it has the mods to make power up that high...
I ran a pg7 (teg ecu) in my 91 Si hatch with the d16a6 before I sold it....never threw a code. Just gave me a higher redline which I desired, more mid-range pep, but a nasty gas odor due to running to rich.....I delt with that though for the power gains. It shouldnt throw codes or cause a lopey idle; you probably have other problems there dude.

i talked to him yesterday, he said that the reason the engine light is on cuz of no o2 sensor, and the loopy idle ill figre out later, i have no clue what that could be but it really sucks sitting at a re light, man this car scares me, but itll becool when i work on it and i thank god it runs lol, andyes i get horrible smell now that i have that teg ecu in there, damn it.
