Default got a big problem and need help

ok i was leaving my ex wifes house from taking my son home and i get on it a little and go down the road about 300 feet after slowing down some and I see white smoke coming from the exhaust (never smoked before) and so i go to a gas station about a quarter mile from where i was and stop the car. As i stop the car i notice smoke coming from under the hood, so i go and pop the hood and the smoke is coming from the back of the engine so i drive it to my apartment which is about a half mile away from the store. When i started the car up it was ticking and making noises so i ran it easy back to the apartment. When i got there i shut it down and go inside for a few hours to let it cool down. When i go back out side i checked the coolant (just to make sure) and check the oil but there is no oil on the dip stick so i look under the car and see a poodle of oil on the ground and i notice it's dripping from the block and the tranny. I made sure the oil pan was ok, which it was, and the drain plug was still there but i have no clue what it could be that caused the smoke (which i found out was due to oil leaking onto the header) and where the oil is coming from so i need your help. I can't work on the car (damn apartment rules) and i can't jack it up to see anything so i thought i would post up to see if anyone else has ever had this problem or know what is wrong. Please help i need to go to work tuesday and i need to know what i wrong so i can get it towed some where and fixed. thanks

P.S. sorry the post is so long i just wanted to try toi tell you guys all the details

I had the same problem a while back, and it was a bad head gasket. Oil all over the header and oil in the coolant, yuck. Just find out where exactly it is leaking from and go from there. You may have a cracked head or block though... Its always a possiblity.

are you sure it isnt the rear main seal
check your oil to see iif it has water in it
if not your head gasket "should" be ok
sounds like it is the rear of the main seal though

i belive the oil is coming from the oil pressure sender (sorry don't know the real name) but i will check the head to see about that but it looked fine from what i can tell and i can't check the oil cause it all leaked out and there is no oil in the car but i checked some of the oil that leaked out but it didn't look like it had water in it
