Default Hand Built vs. C & C Machined

What are some of the benefits of a hand built header. I don't know about you, but me personally I think I'd prefer one that was mass produced by a computer...
I can't think of any benefits for a hand built one vs a computer welded one.

hand weld or computer weld doesn't matter..
It matter who design the header..

i give SMSP a two
David did a awesome welding on my header. Best i ever seen.
Its too bad i can't post a pic of my header..
David asked me not to post pic of header, cuz people copy his design.

Thats what I'm saying...
How could a person's hand (no matter how skilled) be as consisent and refined as a computer controlled welder?

Well when a CNC'd header comes out and beats out the big names out there, then I'll agree. Unitll then go take a look at some of the "hand welded ones". They are beyond my expectations of quality of any header computer or hand welded.

i still have not seem many mass produced headers beat the custom headers, hytech, smsp, headertech, DTR all are hand built and out perform most of the other pea-shooters on the market, plus the attention to detail that a person can offer is always a plus

thats because most of the "mass produced" headers are just that..there meant for the "mass" and not for specialist.
since when has a hamburger from McDonalds tasted better then some fresh ground beef grilled on a bbq??
or when has some sony xplodes speakers (<mass) sounded better then some Focal Utopia's (specialist)???

CNC = Computer Numerical Control. Generally associated with routers / cutters but there's no reason you couldn't have a welder in there.
