New Car
Well now that I have the $$, I'm about three years late.
Can't get a 2004 Type R since the last model year was '01 (in the states). So what do you think is comparable these days? The type R was an engineering masterpiece, but you know what? I still don't think anything comes close to the whole package of performance & reliablility the the Type R gives you. I keep debating what to get (brand new) but it is difficult. The type R really has no shortcomings I can think of, and every other possibility I think of has cons.(ie: my friends STi already back to the dealer for excessive engine pinging) Do you think it would be worth it to buy an rsx-r from evolution imports?

Buy the Type-R with 70 some odd original miles. That is what I would do if you know you want an R. IT's 2001 and black. There was a post about it in here. I think he was asking 24,000.
If you know how truly special this car is, then go for this one. The next best thing to buying one off of the lot.

There's no new technology on the Type R, it is all 10 year old technology or older. I fail to see why the Type R (or ANY integra for that matter, it IS an integra) would be considered an engineering masterpiece... it isn't.

They key word there Chris is was. I think we can all agree that the car was special when it was first released.
