Default B20 Sleeved "any suggestions"

Ok Im getting ready to build a new bottom end for my race motor. I have a 1.8 with ctr pistons right now. I have a fully built head that I want to still use. I'm curios on what you guys think on a bottom end, size, pistons and ratio remember race only no streets. I want to go big this time, I was thnking B20 sleeved to a 2.2L. What do u guys think.

I'm not sure if they still make sleeves for the B20... Probably do, I'm not one to look for that sort of thing now... But remember that if you go that big there probably won't be any services left on the block if you blow it.

GsR sleeved and stroked. If you are sleeving, you might as well us the B18C block (its a stronger block).
In all honesty though, is this a drag motor or a road race motor? Those would warrent different answers.
If its drag motor, go with the bigger motor, if not stick with the 1.8, or maybe even a 1.6 or 1.7.

A Offset sleeves, bore to 86mm
1 inch deckplate (need custom rod)
Custom 95mm Crank.
Custom piston.
you can't just sleeve to 2.2l (90mm bore), max bore i seen is 86mm

Stroker kit from Crower or custom.
87mm bore and 95mm crank.

well..
bigger is better in the world of drag racing, but I don't know the rules too well, so you'd probably be best off asking someone else.

If the motor is going to be race only all-motor, then we have a great set-up for you. we use the Eagle 95mm crank in your B-series block with no deckplate ( B18 or B20 ) sleeved to be able to accept pistons up to 87mm and a light rod. The pistons are custome and can eb any comp. ratio you want determined by your tuners ability and what fuel you will run. The rods can be either Eagle or a custom light weight Cunningham, but remember custom=$$$$ and up to 6 weeks for delivery just for the rods. Give us a call (909) 592 - 4311 and ask for etx. 104. Our sales people can talk to you about what the best set-up for your application will be as well as pricing. Thanks
