You want a cold air intake? I've seen one every so often on there. I see no reason why you should get it. DX's intake manifold's suck **** and you can't do much with them. You are better off gettin an MPFI swap and go from there.

A si intake tube will fit on a dx if you want to make it work.

I looked at an 88 CRX DX the other day with dual point, and it had an AEM cold air intake on it...looked like it fit really well, although you should do the MPFI conversion to take full advantage of it.

The Si CAI will work on a DX, just make sure you fix the tube where it's not touching the battery terminals. If they touch, you won't be happy with the results. Don't ask me how I know this

My battery terminal chipped the paint off my AEM CAI, which fortunately was the only thing that happened for the week I drove my car without the plastic covers for the battery terminals.

Did you blow a fuse when they touched?

Aftermarket intakes do NOTHING on a DPFI DX. The throttle body is too much of a bottleneck. Anyone who tells you differently is basing their conclusions on their own placebo results. "I can hear it more so it must be faster"

Get the MPFI swap done first.
