Default question about integra armrest

i already searched and never found the answer I was looking for.
I was thinking about picking up an integra armrest this weekend and was just wondering what all would be involved on attaching it to my civic console? I dont want to put the whole console in though, just the armrest since I have a fairly rare console already. has anyone done this? if so, what all was involved?
thanks

What year Teg? I have a 98 GSR console and it is one peice from the dash back. I think the 2nd gen console is just the armrest. so maybe that is the one you are talking about.

Just disconnect your lower console piece on your dash and take out the whole center cover over the shifter and ebrake. Then install the integra 93+ center, do not try to use the stock mounting holes they will not work. After installing the integra center piece push it all the way up to match up with your stock civic dash and make it look flush as possible there will be a little gap where the civic dash and integra console linne and make two new holes where it use to mount to the stock dash. Now you have a integra center console. I loved my old one ...haha I miss my 4gen hatch

i don't think he wants to do that, from the likes of it, he probably has one of those double din center console. so that is probably his reason for having a rare item and only putting on the armrest. i believe that is what he is referring to.
but i could be wrong, that's what i think he's talking about.

yup, hes right, lol.
I have an 88 SE, so i have the rare EURO console in it, so I'd rather keep that rather than putting in an integra console. I was just wondering if there was a way to put just the armrest in... so pretty much anyone with a cr, and an integra armrest in it should know how to do it, since they cant use the whole console.
