Pics and Benefits of SMS Header??
I just have seen a lot of talk about this header and wondered if anyone could update me with some info and pics of it. I am debating on goin all motor or turbo and this thing sounds nice...Thanks...
sms is the king from what ive heard, only drawback is the wait and the price. Id give danny tran a call over at danny tran race fab and see what he can do for you, itd be around the same price/power, just not that long of a wait.

Cant go wrong w/ a SMS header....SMSP/Dave
I ordered my SMSP 1.8l header from Dave around Febuary, and had the pleasure of actually meeting him and picking up my header at the ITR expo in April at Beaver Run. It is WELLLLL worth the wait and the $$$, as im sure all of you have heard the saying "you get what you pay for" well Dave's products fit that to a T.
The craftsmenship on the header is second to none, and the power gains...wellll....
STOCK ITR, STOCK Intake, STOCK exhaust, STOCK header, again STOCK 1998 ITR dynoed in at 164whp.
with ONLY THE SMSP HEADER STOCK intake, STOCK ECU, NO cam gears, NO TUNING, STOCK CAMS......
dynoed in at 187
so that was a 23WHP gain from just Dave's header.
Now this isnt hear-say, it is on my own car, and there were many people the day we tested it out. Posted the graph on HT a while back, should still be around.
Also George Knighton managed 191whp with a SMSP header/exhaust and skunk2cam gears
