I just bought Skunk 2 valve springs and titanium retainers for my type r head.I am going to be puting them in soon and i dont know if i can use the stock locks or have to buy after market ones. can some one help.

the keepers will work just fine........dont worry about them......

 

The keepers?

 

the two little pieces that go around the top of the valve, that then have the retainer slide over them as you decompress the valvespring are the keepers. they keep the valve in place, and they should work fine with aftermarket retainers
