I have a 98 accord 4banger and my temperature gauge jumps from normal to hot a lot of the times when i hit a bump or when im just driving. I talked to this guy who was a mechanic tech for the army for 20+ years and he says that the wiring along the way is hitting ground causing it to jump. Also, the dealer tried to fix this problem by replacing the thermostat and sending unit, and still didn't solve the problem. My fuel gauge is also not accurate as it goes up and down like crazy and sometimes i dont know if my engine is a gas hungry, or the gauges are just ******* with me mentally.

Has anyone had these problems before?..Ive read that some of you have had the same problem with the fuel gauge going nuts.
