is your car salvage? if not,,,your accord yrs get free ecm and o2 sensor.. i know because i work for honda...p1146 (h02 s1 failure)
under certain driving condition,ecm seat a false code....need updated ecm.....go get one free if your car is under 8/80.....8 yrs or 80k miles

It is an Accord Coupe EX 2000 - it has 71,400 miles on it.
My mechanic cleared out my code - so what do I do now? Will the dealer replace the stuff now that the code has been cleared??

im sorry bro,,,,we only replace the ecu....w/ code present....we print the code out..
possible the code will return....
note: not all vehicle is affected.....only some that applie to the VIN..

This is partially true. The o2 sensor is <u>ONLY</u> covered under the original 3 year / 36000 mile warranty. The ECM however ... is covered in this bulletin up to 80,000 miles like you said (and I too work for a Honda dealership).
