JRSC NOT WORKING!
Well i got my JRSC kit in and its definitly not working properly. The car goes to about 6300 and then cuts out. Im not feeling any wheelspin or power. Im not sure what the problem is and need help. I narrowed it down to either the JR FMU or the Apex-i VAFC. ANy help PLEASE!!!!!!!

If thats how it was when you got the car back I wouldn't worry about what the problem is. I would take it to them and have them fix it. When you spend that much money it should be running right when you get the car back.

im going to talk to them. Theres no vtec engaging and thats how it ran when i got it back. Im almost positive its the vafc interfering with the FMU from jackson racing. Hopefully all goes well and all help is appreciated.
The vafc was installed when the JRSC was. Ive heard of your car shark and i know you have had experience with the JRSC. Have you ever heard a similar problem. I have no wheelspin or power. There taking the car back this week but i really wish to know where they messed up.
or check that for some odd reason the plug going to the VTEC selinoid isn't unplugged. Sounds retarded, but typically when things go wrong it's something really stupid.
No special ways... Just wire the VAFC between the JRSC box and the motor (IE, not between the ECU and JRSC box) That way it's modifying the modified JRSC signal and the JRSC doesn't see the modifications made by the VAFC.
The cause of your problems is probobally a bad/incorrect connection to the VTEC solenoid from the VAFC. It's a blue wire from the VAFC if I remember correctly.
If you're mechanically inclined, put the factory wire back together between the ECU and the wiring harness to the VTEC. That will tell you if it's the VAFC causing the problem

Specifically, the MAP sensor wire. The JRSC "ems" intercepts the MAP wire, modifies the signal, and then a wire is run from the "ems" to the stock ecu. This wire running from the "ems" should be wired to the VAFC MAP input, and then the VAFC MAP output to the stock ecu. Edit: so yes, it does need to be wired between the "ems" and the stock ecu, not between the "ems" and the motor!
Another cause of the vtec problem could be a miswiring of the VTM (vtec pressure sender) wire.

Im bringing the car back this saturday the 6th. Im going to have them figure it out and i believe its the vafc. If i can fix that problem and it works then i can go ahead and put in the injectors, fuel rail, and fuel pres reg. They told me that the vafc could only be used as a monitor and would not be able to tune anything. with these new instructions it should work right. Thanks again, what exactly do i have to do again.
I have 370cc injectors and the aem fuel rail and fpr. I figured id install them seeing how i would be able to adjust fuel and all so im not running lean. What do you recomend. Should i install them now or not?

Yea just go ahead and throw those in real quick
Since you have to remove the blower to do it

First off, the jackson racing EMS unit is designed to work with STOCK injectors and no vafc unit, the FPR restricts the fuel return line to the tank to increase the fuel pressure so you dont need the bigger injectors. Secondly and here is the good part! the Jackson racing EMS unit is a peice of garbage and does not work, Jackson racing knows this and are working on a new unit to replace the current EMS because they know there are problems with it. Your best bet is to ditch the EMS and the FPR and install the correct bigger size injectors and use a STANDALONE engine management system, yes I know its expensive but thats the right way to do it, It wouldnt surprise me if that is what jackson racing is planning to do to fix this problem. Also I believe you said your car cuts out at 6300 rpm , does it pull hard until it reaches 6300 or is it a dog down low too?
