He just picked it up last night, it was owned by one of my good friends, so I know the car was babied. He paid 25K for a yellow 2002, with 5K miles on it. Car was garaged and never even saw a rain drop.

Is that too much?

He is using it as his daily driver, I was telling him he should be all right just to be careful in the rain.

I drive a 91 hatch with a b16 and it's fun as hell but that car is just freaking sick. The handling is so tight and the lines on the car are gorgeous

Just thought I'd share the story, and to ask if they are good as a daily driver

whats important when it comes to buying a used car is knowing how the car was treated, and since the car belonged to a good friend of yours, you bought the perfect used car IMO.

wow 25K for a 02 s2k...thats not bad man...i've checked out some 00 s2k with about 70k mi. going a little bit over 20k...good deal and only having 5000 mi.

For everyone who doesn't know, the original engine in the car had problems at 2K miles or so. My friend said it was running poorly so he checked the oil and it was bone dry. Turns out no oil was getting to the cylinder head, so the motor was replaced by Honda. By no means is it a salvaged car, just a new engine. So, actually the engine has only 3K miles or so.


I will try to convince my bro to run you, but I don't think he will be interested. How about I convince him to let me take the car out and we'll have some fun. Modded VR6 vs. a stock S2K, would be interesting.
