i would like to get a 4 door JDM front end for my hatch. what parts need to be ordered, and replaced on my 90 SI, and is there any welding involved to get it on?
also isint that the one with the 1 piewce headlights? does it have the bulge in the hood?

and who can i get this from for a reasonable price?

ummm, why dont you just get the jdm front end for a hatch???

 

i might want the hatch front end, i wanted the 1 pice headlights, and the vent in between the hreadlights. i dont know anything ardly about the EF8/EF9/4door JDM fronts, i would like someone to tell me, or show me pics..

alright, im guessing thats the JDM CRX front end.. whats the difference between that and the 4 door, and the JDM civic fronts?

 

ok.. as far as front ends go, ive been doing my early research into the EF9 front end. i've mostly done researched the CRX, but i do know a little about this.

EF9 SiR front end is very similar to the EF8 front end. has an SiR hood. it does NOT have a bump in the hood. that is a ZC. the SiR hood does push up a little. look at the center of your USDM hood.. notice how the the center dips DOWN, the SiR hood will take that same shape, but it will go UP. the EF9 front end also has JDM headlights which are wider than USDM, and it has clear corners. These are NOT one piece headlights. and i do believe the 1 piece headlights are based on the ZC(same size as USDM) headlights and corner light shape. Bumper covers are also different to incorporate the new headlight shape and they have wrap around bumper lights. the EF9 front end also has side marker fenders.

if you want 1 piece headlights and a JDM "front end" what i would suggest is get a ZC hood (with the buldge in the hood) and get the 1 piece headlights.

oops forgot.. the EF9 hood also incorporates the headlight shape, while the ZC will incorporate the ZC (USDM size) and i think 1 piece headlight shape

oh yeah does the JDM front ends have the bumper support? and can you use the usdm radiator support or do u have to use the jdm one?

Yes, the hatch use the filler piece and no bumper reinforcements just 11 bolts holding it up. (4 in front, 3 underneath, and 2 on each wheel well.)

whats the hammer for? people say the usdm crx front end will fit on a hatch.. why would it be so bad to put the crx front on a hatch? or even the 4 door one. im not really a fan of the jdm hatch front end it looks almsot the same as the usdm, the crx and 4 door, on the other hand, are very different. so nobody has any pics of the 4 door or crx jdm fronts on a hatch???

 

hmmmmmmm.....never seen that before, jdm crx on the hatch, but i guess it could work ok, just need all the slam panles and headlights,bumper,bonnet etc etc.
