I was on my way to the bookstore to buy some books for one of my classes, and a lady coming off the off ramp on the highway, didn't stop at the light, and nailed me as I came out from under the underpass. It doesn't look incredibly bad, but she was going pretty fast. Anyone think it is totalled? Also, any suggestions on what to do with insurance company in order to not get screwed? Thanks.

Her insurance adjuster contacted me and said they were going to pay for any damage, so I guess that is a good thing. I'm still pretty pissed off though anyone got suggestions on what to do or how to deal with them? ( insurance)

 

make sure they toss in a rental for you to use whilst your ride is being repaired

totalled fo shizzle. Make sure if they total it, they don't take any parts on it that arent on your policy. Should look into a buyback too, would be cheap.

 

Well what happened was, when she ran the red light traffic had just started moving on our side, so me and the other car that was in the front started rolling. When she hit me on the passenger side, she pushed me into the other lane and the other car promptly nailed me on the drivers side It wasn't pretty and I was scared shitless it was all slow-mo and **** and I thought I was fucked it looked like she was coming really fast (((

yea if theyre already gonna admit fault, they should be giving you around 3 times the amount of the damage if you're hurt. at least that's how it is in california.

dam, that **** major damage....at least no one was hurt, but that might be considered totaled. i'd take the rims off and get it balanced to see if its still good, and what not. good luck bro
