when i was driving my lude daily (about to start again next week finally!) I got HORRIBLE gas mileage! I wonder what kind o fMPG you get when you are in VTEC constantly..hehe
A lot of highway milage on with any car will get you good gas milage. I think most of the guys with the high gas milage were mostly highway drivers. I don't vtec a lot and only have an intake and I get about 20-22mpg city driving.
I get about 25mpg or 350miles/tank. I want the RSX tranny or any 6 speed for that matter.
I drive about 50 miles on the highway every day, going around 80 the whole time(when I'm lucky and no traffic) and it sucks my gas down since I'm at like 4k RPM's + the whole time.

i'm getting 400 miles per tank, mostly highway driving at 70mph or so (3k).
= 27mpg
i don't get on the gas over half throttle too much, and no vtec.
i mean, my old car got better mileage, 33 mph, but it was a souped up escort with a whopping 88 hp.

I used the new shell "longer lasting" gas, crock of ****.
I filled it up with 93 for 21.00(1.86? per gallon) and I got about 240 miles out of it.
Usually I get 260-270, the 18s dont help.

im running about 300 mpg on a full tank city driving. im fairly hard on the gas too. i can drive about 400+ on the highway. thats going about 75mph all the way though. to save gas, its all about keeping the rpms low.... the lower the rpm, the less gas it takes the run the car.

I get about 300 mi a tank with my 17's on. i think i could get 325 with the OEM wheels, but lately i've been tryign to stay away from V-TEC because i'm paying 2.25/gal for 91 octane.

darn, i got you mixed up with the guy who started this thread.
did you guys know that the A/C also uses up your gas faster too? it's just a thought.
i got to hit vtec at least once or twice when i drive the lude.

It's ALL in the driver...
When I first got my lude, I didn't notice it, but I kept on the pedal pretty hard most of the time, and was wondering why my mileage sucked so bad.
When I learned to go slower and easier on the pedal, I started keepin a lot more $$$ in my pockets!
At first I had to fill up twice a week. After adjusting my driving style, I could make a full tank last about 10 days.
Also, doin the speed limit on the highway helps a lot

Yea, I get around 380 miles on a fillup until the light comes on... not too bad I'd say - turbo is gonna kill my milage, prolly gonna drop down to 300 or so. I shift ~ 4,000 RPM and I don't drive on a highway.
