Isnt this the "JCwhitney" intake manifold shown often in the FI forum?

Which one are you referring to? The AEBS one or the Edelbrock one?

Looks heavy as f**k.

I like the CF Endyn one better.

That PDF file is corrupted.

For the money though, this thing seems to be a pretty good bang for the buck. I'd probably take mine in non-polished finish though, if I didn't already have the Endyn/AIR manifold. I like the Endyn/AIR one better too, but you might say I'm a little biased

This is the 'typhoon' manifold. Any NA set ups running this with feedback?

They are relatively inexpensive as well at around 225.

I have to see some independant testing before I believe those gains.

Definitely. If they do post those gains, you'd be insane not to buy one.

Hmmmm....so who's gonna be the ginny pig ITR???? I know George needs some more go fast goodies!

Seriously though, someone buy this thing and dyno the sucker back to back. Preferably on a stock motor with no tuning. And then another dyno with slightly modified C5 with stock ITR manifol vs. typhoon.

I really do hope they aren't all polished like that.

Now, can you tell me how you fit that thing in a stock ITR without modifying the firewall or moving the motor forward?

Did they keep the stock trottle body during that test?

Well if anyone has one I'm sure Austin is willing to be the ginny pig .

Do longer runners on the intake make a big difference?

20whp seems hard to believe.
Has anyone ever dynoed any other manifolds like the skunk2?
Do they gain close to that much?

Many members afirm the Skunk2 manifold is the same as the stock ITR.

It's not exactly the same but yes very similar and would not be worth to upgrade from stock itr.

20whp maybe if car is pushing like 300-400whp, i thgout these things mess up low end - someone correct me on that..

i wonder how would it affect if your motor is modified , would you see the same results ?. an for the amount of money that you spend on i would be happy to see gains up to 15whp . not pushing it with 20

Hmmm... if those two runs were done back to back with no changes, I wonder why the first one is run #001 and the second is run #012?

longer runners and smoother flow would actually INCREASE low end... I would be interested to see if there are any noticeable gains over the stock R manifold on a mostly stock car... Especially considering that the stock piece isn't exactly a poor design in the first place. Might make a good cheap mod to go along with a header.
Be sure to post up any dyno results on a n/a car...thanks

Sorry for the spelling error. Thanks to our wonderful Governor Gray Davis who is being recalled as we speak, education was cut in our community colleges. I blame all my short comings on him.

Thank you...I think even Italians mis-spell guinea when referring to themselves.

This is the manifold I spoke about a long time ago. Guess I better make those calls now.
