Air conditioning hoses have leaks--buy new for more $$, or used for less $$?

Air conditioning hoses have leaks--buy new for more $$, or used for less $$?

I want to buy new hoses, but they're pretty expensive. But then, if i buy used hoses, i run the risk of leakage when they eventually get old. And with used hoses, they're at least 12 years old (assuming they were made the same year as my 91).

either way they are going to get old....so the decision is on you.....you get what you pay for...that is what i always say to myself now...since i got screwed a couple times on a couple of things....but you learn from your mistakes....

when it comes to AC and those lines.... go with new lines

those hoses are designed for sepcific gases and pressures.... dont settle for used... they can go bad with just a stupid bent.....

dont waste any money.. u will regret it....
get new ones and go safe!!

Well while you were talking to me about buying them from me I do agree with what he said..I mean why go through all the trouble replacing them getting your A/C recharged just to find out a line goes out on you a month or 2 down the road?? I mean **** even if they last you 6 months with what you will have to pay to once again get new lines and recharge it you could have had new lines bought and paid for.
