Default 2000 Tafetta White EK hatch fs - swapped and built

I can't believe I'm doing this but if I can get $13,000 for it I will sell it. So, the price is $13,000 people. Price lowered!! $12,500 is bottom dollar!!

Car has 42k on it, engine only has 12K since being built, runs strong and doesn't burn any oil. Paint is spectacular, has usual rock chips on the lower front bumper/lip. Car is extremely clean. I have received tons of compliments. This is a FINISHED project and needs nothing unlike many cars you see. I can't think of anything else to do to it! Car runs perfect and has no quirky bugs. It idles like stock and has very smooth power delivery all the way up until the 8400 rpm redline.

Taffetta White was only offerred in the year 2000 on hatchback Civics. Looks amazing in the sunlight and even better at night. This was a Virginia car up until 6 months ago. It has been extremely well cared for!! Pretty much everything from a salvaged 2000 Honda Civic Si coupe was put on this car including all interior, engine, suspension, brakes, etc. And then the engine was built.

Has been tuned some (could use more tweaking of cam gears) and put down 166hp/115tq.

Mods:

Engine-

2000 B16a2
JDM ITR tranny with LSD (4.785 Final Drive for nice close gearing!)

Portflow/ITR valvetrain
Exedy clutch
ITR flywheel
DIY Ram Air Intake from bumper to Si intake box

Suspn-

2000 Civic SI front & rear complete suspension
2000 Civic SI rear sway bar
KYB AGX shocks front and rear (firmness adjustable)
Ground Control coilovers (height adjustable) with 350 (f) 450 (r) lb/in spring rates

Brakes-

2000 Civic SI front and rear disk brakes
Hawk HP+ pads front, OEM Honda in the rear
Si brake booster and master cylinder
Goodridge Stainless lines

Interior-

Stock seats w/ SI head rests
2000 Civic SI climate controls
2000 Civic SI CD player
2000 Civic SI arm rest
2000 Civic SI gauge cluster w/ 18k on it
Civic Type R shift ****
Mugen pedals
Alpine Alarm with Keyless entry
ICE COLD A/C!!

Exterior-

CTR rear under skirt
Painted side moldings and side skirts
2000 Civic SI front lip
2000 Civic SI front grill
JDM side markers (wired the right way to only turn on with the blinkers)

Wheels-

2000 Civic SI wheels 205-50 Kuhmo 711's (lots of tread left)

Maintenance recently done-

Brakes have been completely redone with Brembo rotors, Hawk pads in front, OEM Honda in the rear. Oil changes done every 3k, sometimes less. Tranny fluid was changed with Redline ShockProof (specially formulated for LSD trannies). Brake fluid flushed and filled with ATE super blue. This is all in the last 2 months.

Note: Some info updated due to some info I got from the original owner. This car has been thru a few honda-tech people already.

Damn, that thing is really sweet but no thanks. I want the cash. A RHD car is a PITA.

LIMITED TRADES WELCOME!! I'm looking for a winter beater basically. I only want a 92+ civic (4 door, 2 door, hatch, doesn't matter) that's a 5spd and I won't pay more than $2k for it. I found a really nice low mileage 95 EX for $2k and I don't think I'll be able to beat that so if you can I will certainly consider.

Bryan said Sgt did the tranny, valvetrain and cams. I wasn't sure what was done before.

sorry, as i told you in my PM, i built that entire motor by myself in my garage, with alot of hard long nights and sweat.. and it is still one of the most gratifying accomplishments when it comes to cars that i have ever done.. the only part i didnt do was the valvesprings because i didnt have a tool, they were done by Nick @ rosen autosports

Sgt put the tranny in and put in the portflow/ITR valvetrain. To my knowledge. When Chris sold it, it had an Si tranny and the skunk2 cams but then the cams were changed out for Toda's and then put back to Skunk2's later and the valvetrain was redone in there also to portflow/ITR.

cool. thanks for all the info guys!! Hey, I had the parts right but the story wrong!! lol.

after a long IM session with Chris I've got most of the history. Like I said all the parts are correct and even better in some cases. Rods have been balanced.

thanks Chris!!
