Default Just introducing myself. A couple of ?'s too.

Hey, im opie, im from nyc own a ITR just found this site a few days ago, I'm really impressed with the amount of knowledge some of the member's have . That's where my question lies, I currently have a AEM cai and a factory installed comptech 4-2-1. Im swapping the header for a 4-1 with a 2.5 inch collector. What exhaust would you all suggest.
The car is a daily driver, plan on installing a high flow cat, not a test pipe. I want an Apexi N1, however everyone tells me it's gonna be obnoxiously loud on my R.
Any experience with this setup?. Any responses will be really apreciated

There's not a whole hell of a lot of difference in cat-back exhausts. If you want the Apex N1 get it - you will likely have to run it with a silencer once the novelty of the noise wears off.

Search for "SMSP" - he makes great custom exhausts in 2.5"

If you want JDM there's Apex, Fujisubo, Mugen, Spoon, and others.

noisy or not is kinda a "personal" taste thing. I have Apexi N1 and I don't think they are too loud.

If you want to hear some exhaust sound in person.....be sure to some to the next r-speed meet. We have all kinds of different exhaust on our car.....you will find the one you like

I think the N-1 is good for power, price and bolt on performance. Like it was said there is really not that big a difference between cat-backs, it's up to your tastes whether you like loud (anything N1) or quiet (Mugen).

I have the Muge, but if I wanted affordable I would have gone with the Apex one.

As my sig says....I have an aem cai, jdm 4-1, and a Apexi n-1 w/ test pipe. Good performance and I personally don't think its too loud. I can't see spending 800-1000 on exhaust so apexi works great for me. And since I put kenji's p28 in all i hear is Vtec and is sounds good a *****.
