Volk LE37 Question
searched, but couldnt find a answer...
for anyone that is riding on the authentic Volk LE37's, does your wheel(s) have balancing weights? uh if you dont know what balancing weights are, they are the little metal square weights on the inside of some wheels. helps to balance the wheels out.
sorry, I was planning on purchasing this set from someone, but I saw about four pictures and there were about 4 balancing weights on the inside of each wheel. and from my recollection...my old se37k's never had the balancing weights. also the sticker has been removed from the wheels they say. but it should still say "Rays ENG" on the inside of the wheel correct? well someone help me out. thanks.

if you want your tires to be balanced properly you will need to use wieghts. i dont know why that guy would remove the stickers though, seems kind of funny. it should say RAYS ENG on the front of the wheel in between the spokes.

Again, this is not always the case. A true Volk will have solid spokes (i.e. spokes that don't look like they were hollowed out), the size embossed on the hub mounting surface and they will be light for how large they are. There is a web site that has various wheel weights. should you need to compare. My TE37s do not have RAYS or VOLK embossed on them at all, and they are authentic...

on a te37 or le37, it should have a "Rays ENG" engraved on the inside of the wheel somewhere correct? the person I might be purchasing from says it does not have that engraved anywhere...

stickers really dont mean anything. i mean i have a set laying in my garage that my wheel shop took off for some unknwon reason, but they are true volks too. keep in mind, some wheels are repolished, fixed, etc and that would practically take off any markings. as far as the stickers on the spokes, they can be ordered through mackin, but only if the owner shows a legit set. (read it somewhere on this forum). and im sure no one makes 17" le-37t copies..dont know if that helps. haha.

Grids are copies of the Volk Gram Light.
Mackin will not get stickers from Rays in Japan. To many copies floating around. I needed a set of volk stockers for my CE28N's and they or the shop I bought it from would/could not help.
Most of the newer style volks that have become popular will have rays eng forged into the wheels itself.
The older volks didn't have this because copies and imitations wern't as prevalent as they are today.
