OK, here is what the latest is.

We are in Phoenix, AZ at Arizona Motorsports Park Memorial Day Weekend (Sat and Sun) 2004. The current issues they are having shoudl not affect us in a large way regardless of the outcome. Don't stress this.

What we need . . .

First and foremost I need a couple graphic designers. I need some VERY basic webpage work and more so I need an Expo 4 Logo. Please feel free look to last year for inspiration and realize the logo goes on EVERYTHING (Tshirt, Event Badges, and Programs among other things).

Next I need Event Volunteers. I already have my team leads for the areas I have identified but I might need a few more people (Not too many though).
Here are the Teams I have identified:
Registration
Banquet
Sponsors
Printing
Graphics/Website

If you have a reason you would be best fitted for a team please let me know.

Next is Registration, Dave will be getting event registartion up ASAP. We will start taking money as soon as Registartion goes up. This will allow us to make a deposit on the track as well as secure your spot. No spot is safe until it is paid for. We are allowing between 80 and 90 students on track this year. if you do not have a Type-R you will not be allowed to register to drive. We will develope some rules about those who do not have a Type-R at the time of the event. Please sign up and pay as soon as you can.

I need track corner workers. Last year we used the tracks workers and I feel we can improve by having our own volunteers. This position is the only paying position. You MIGHT (no promises) see a few minutes of parade laps at lunch but compensation will be the pay. Workers are responsible for their own foor and rooms. This is a good way for non R drivers to get to come down and participate. If you know someone please have them contact me.

Lastly but not leastly, we need Instructors. We will need about 32-35 instructors. Last year we pulled from the Honda Challenge group and i hope to get to do the same thoing with the newly formed WCHC. If you want to be <U>considered</U> for an instructor position please apply and we will review those who are interested. Instructors will have 3 students (one less than last year). You will be required to provide in car instruction as is pretty standard with most HPDEs. Instructors will recieve free track time in their own session as well as free dinner Saturday night at the Banquet. Instructors are only elegible for the non driving atendee raffle prizes.

Help us out please...otherwise you guys are going to see my graphic creations which leave a bit to be desired

 

I'm in for instructing. Some of the MM crew is planning a vacation of sorts... a two-day stop in vegas on the way out, head to the bondurant superkart school and then expo4

Most likely I would be flying to the event (with Takumi hopefully). I can instruct or work on corners or grid. Just let me know what kind of help you need cuz I would be a free body.
