Default Which has more midrange CTR/SK2 Stg 2 cams?

What's the better cam for making midrange power, or is the sk2 better overall? I'm looking to make good power on my ls/vtec setup to 8500 or so, but maintain power in the midrange rpm band....

The stage 2's can make just as much mid range and are gonna **** on the CTR cams from 6,500 and up.

I was using CTR's before on my GSR motor, and then switched to stage II's. On the dyno, base run was 127lbs at the wheels with the stage II's as compared to 125 peak power on the CTR's after tuning.

Those #'s are peak hp for a gsr?? What kind of dyno? I'm confused. Arent those #'s a bit low??</TD></TR></TABLE>

No. I didn't mention horsepower numbers at all. Those are torque numbers as stated in my original post. The Skunk2 cams did not lose any torque when compared to the CTR's in the midrange, I was quite suprised.

Thanks for posting that. I knew IB did a test. I was just to lazy to pull up the site and copy the URL and blah blah blah....
