Who makes a 40 series 15 inch tire.

is there a reason you'd want a 40 series on a 15" rim? why not go bigger?

 

CUz im building the car for drag racing, and i dont want to go any bigger than a 15.

I heard dunlop makes a tire, but im looking into it.

I think he might have meant why not a larger size tire, not wheel. 40 series is really small for that size wheel, why not 50 series?

 

I have 50 series on it now, and they seem to tall in my opinion.

 

There's a few 45 series like the toyo t1-s and kumho 712

ewll i myself have NEVER seen a 40 series tire fora 15" rim. hte smalles i've seen is a 50 series.

 

man, probably have some nice roads out there. i loved the fact u can have a 15" wheel with 50 series and survive some potholes. IMO 40 series would look like rubber bands on a 15"

 

I just searched Tire Rack and found nothing.

 

nitto makes 195/45/15 drag radials

 

205/50 is the best for 15" IMO

 

if you are building a somewhat decent drag car wont you need slick anyway?

 

I use 205/50/15'' RA'1 Radials..

no body makes a 40 series tire for 15" wheels lowest profile that make is a 45

 

I have yokohama AVS intermediates 205/45/15 zr $132each at discount tires.

 

If you don't mind me asking why do you want a 40 series for a 15 inch wheel? You would really have to slam the **** out of your car to make it look decent. Also I sell most popular brands of tires and I have never even seen a 40.
