Default HID's with the JDM 1 piece black headlights

I have an HID kit for my 92 prelude. I was in the process of buying the JDM lights when i noticed the wiring is different. I know how to wire the lights up with my stock bulbs but has any one tried the HID kit with the JDM lights?

I appreciate it. Coming off the lights there is a fitment piece that twists into the light housing in the stock lights. The HID's i have are plug and play. I just hook the piece that the lights plug in to to an adapter on the HID's which goes through the HID box and then goes in to the light housing. Will the part that goes in to the US light housing go in to the JDM light housing. I am sorry i geuss i should have worded my first post a little better.

there are 2 different harnesses for USDM and JDM. The JDM's have h1 and h4's, the USDM's have 9005 and 9006's, the harnesses are completely different so you have to cut the USDM harness off and wire up the JDM one, you'll also need to get different bulbs

I would like to talk to him about it but I am not able to message anyone. I am still under a trial user. I tried to look for anything that would tell me when I would get off this level. Do you have any idea how long i will be a trial user. I don't want to go post a question like that about my car towards him in his post about his car. That would not be right.

i have HIDs on my JDM, your 9006 is def not going to fit on the JDM h4 headlights. its a real easy install, i have an extra JDM headlights which i am working on to put in retro fit audi or bmw projectors, but i might just sell it, no time for it, and i need some extra cash right now, so if u want a set of JDMs let me know, also this set has its highbeam modified to be yellow like ITRs yellow foglight, i dun have a real good pic of how it will look, but see if u like these

PS i just realized i am on my friends comp and his HT name, my HT name is ZoneHKS, drop me a PM or email if anyones interested in the headlights

I wouldnt suggest putting HIDs in JDMs because of how they have the flare to light up road signs on the wrong side which glares in peoples eyes.

yea alot of glare, but u can buy and put on a shield which will block alot of the glares, try this website(last item on the site) http://www.casperselectronics....CIALS
thats more than a shield, that also let u fit a ds2 bulb into the h4 hosuing of the jdm so u dont have to customize the hid bulb to fit into the h4 housing like i did, only 22 bucks!!! i wish foudn this site when i was doingmy hids

Yeah 400 dolars! I wish my dumb self had known i needed a different HID kit before i bought the HID kit i have now. My friend says he might know a way around me getting a new kit and spending 400 more dollars. But we will have to see when the lights come in.
