Polished Valvecover?

Polished Valvecover?
Has any one ever used aircraft remoover to "polish" a stock valvecover? Saw a freinds who used it the car looked good but is a hard on the cover?

I used the paint remover and stripped the paint off real easy (wear gloves that **** hurts)
Then after that I had a friend polish it with like a wheel and ****.

Man I wish mine turned out like that after using just the aircraft remover. Mine looked like it was corroded or something like that?? I am going to try to polish it one of these days though.

hey, i did mine the other day too, just thought i'd post a pic of it.. painted it with a cast iron color high temp engine paint from kragen.
oh yeah, and that paint remover **** does sting pretty bad
