Not sure if this is directed at me. I don't know Jay Smith, nor do I wish to know him. When I hear people say that he "invented the JDM style" I have to laugh, that's all, nothing personal towards him or his peeps. I've always kept my comments about his car to myself.

That's just it, he didn't invent ****. Nothing against Jay Smith, I think people just build up a persona for someone that they've never even met. Yes he had a clean Civic that was in Super Street, guess what? There were guys doing that way back in the day. HT user Hybridef2 is one that comes to mind, representing with Team Ziggy with Jspec wheels and parts, keeping it clean waaaaaay back around 94. So for the people that defend Jay Smith, that actually know him, props to you for backing up your homie, for everyone else riding his nuts because they think he's god, don't be "that guy"
