Thanks Mugen. It was some guy I met and he had a 4 speed manual tranny...imagine how slow it would have been if it were auto 
I'm living in the boonies right now and people here don't know jack about modern 4 cylinder cars. My co-worker has a 1989 Corvette Convertible (automatic), he thinks he can beat me by at least 3 car lengths...he'd have to have a 13 second car to do that and I don't think an auto corvette is capable of that
No, I didn't race him because I don't want to bash his ego (or street race). Plus this town is too small, last thing I need is some jealous redneck (cause I beat him in my 4 cylinder import) messing with my car....as long as they think my car is a piece of **** and leave it alone, I'm happy.

That was actually a quote by a very slow corvette owner, not TommyGunns. It's actually one of the funniest quotes I've seen in a while
