Default Axle back for EP3?

Does anyone make one? The only one i have been able to find is an OBX muffler from mufflertch.com.

What does that muffler sound like? Really loud? Really high pitched?

I dont want to pay for a cat back. Can't really afford one. I just want something different than stock. I'm not really interested in performance gains.

find a muffler that you like and take it to a muffler shop and have them weld a new pipe from the midpipe to the muffler.

I thought about that but I really want to get an axle back that bolts up to the mid pipe so I can put it back to stock as easily as possible. Thanks for the input.

I guess I'll try the OBX. Its only $130 and it comes with the silencer and a bolt kit to put it on. If I hate it, i'll just go back to stock and sell it.

Couldn't you just buy a muffler and have a muffler shop weld on the extra piping and flange so it can bolt right up?

Spoon makes an axle-back but if money is a problem, then they might not be what you're looking for. Just a thought...I'm sure there are other axle-backs out there.

You wouldn't be wanting one if you saw just how restrictive the oem B-pipe was (necks down to almost 1.5" in the resonator).

My advice: Keep the oem muffler as it flows well and get someone to make a different B-pipe for ya.

exactly, stock muffer is just fine, getting axle back would be pointless maybe louder sound. either fullcatback or upgrade bigger mid pipe and keep stock muffer
