JDM ITR ECU all screwy
Info: 1997 USDM GSR (started as) - Blew engine going through hydrolock, now in: 1997 JDM ITR engine/tranny/ECU.
Problem:
Theres a couple. One, the main one. GODDAM CEL IS ON!!
Which means, say it with me now, N-O- V-T-E-C. Major problem. Now, the codes I have pulled so far are the speed sensor and yes my speedometer is not working.
Would this have anything to do with a totally random loss of throttle. What I mean is, it seems like fuel delivery shuts down every now and then and then comes back on in second gear. I have no idea why this is happening, the (new) engine has 24k on it.
Any comments would help, i can answer questions when posted.

No secondary O2 sensor on JDM header or ECU. As for the speed sensor, any kind of CEL will cause VTEC not to work on a JDM engine, is that correct, even if it is a speed sensor? I really don't feel like checking codes, if anyone lives in MD we've been getting hit with massive hurricaine weather and its not good conditions. Also, the car goes in shop tommorow, im just concerned.
