Default Stage 1 or stage 2 cams?

Wanting to make more power and looking to put some aftermarket cams in my motor. currently I am running ctr cams. I am running with an Lsvtec with 10.5:1 pistons, ported head w/ valvetrain upgrade and all the bolt ons and a chipped p28 ecu. Will i make some power with Skunk stage 2? or should i go with the stage 1? I know i should put some higher comp pistons in , but i can't any downtime cause this is my daily driver. ......so wich stage is best for my setup?

IMO stage 2 should be more then enough . if you would get higher CR and forged pistons like JE or arias then stage 3 would be a+ . you sholuld see some nice gains from running stage 2 skunk cams . Stage 1 are just a bit more aggressive then ctr cams so stage 2 would be a better choice ....

Correct but he did mention daily driver reliability. Stage 3 monsters would be a bit too much unless he got some serious tuning. If I REALLY cared about reliability and I had a lengths drive ahead than id definitely get some skunk1's, there nice and mild, as you know there a bit more aggressive than CTR so to me those sound perfect for you but id take stage 2's into consideration also, with some CTR pistons <<seems to be the setup this whole board is going for because it seems to be a good match up. You could definitely lose power with the wrong CR/tuning and a higher lift cam.

Edit: Keyboard went bananas and my reply looked like a 3rd graders paragraph.

It's up to you. Which setup fits you better.
