Browsing around on the web I stumbled onto this:



Its a 1/24 model of the 5th gen prelude. I'm not sure who the maker is, but I'd sure like to get my hands on one... Does anyone have any idea as to who makes these models or where to find them?

 

have you tried http://www.hobbylinkjapan.com ?? they're a huge distributor of japanese parts. .i guess ill have to browse around myself. i'd love to have one of those.

 

I took a look... No luck. I suspect that model may have been discontinued.

 

I believe it might be Aoshima but you are probably right about it being discontinued. But I could be wrong?

That's fake (Photoshop). I believe it was a graphic arts project of some guy and he just posted it up on the internet a few years ago (allegedly).
The only 2 model I know of that actually made into production were both of 4th Gens, one of the JUN Prelude and another of a cop car.

that pic does look a little photo shopped

 

You're probably right... I spent a long while searching for evidence of that thing and I found nothing. The taking a closer look at this packaging I realized that its faked. You can tell from the sides of the box...

Oh well, it would have been nice. Anyway, there's that Modifiers model coming on out month.

 

what lip is that? EDM?

 

Its a photoshop look at how there are base wheels on an otherwise stock looking Type-S.

Thats my bid....YES....I also won the red 4th gen...waiting on getting the modifiers 5th gen, and looking for a 1st gen.....Want to get that 3rd gen, but I know the bidder and dont want to out do them.

there are more then those two models, i've seen the jun one and have a red 4th gen that was produced in japan. i bought it at a hobby shop in wilmington, nc. they also had another preulde but i don't remeber what was different about it. I've also seen several different ones on ebay.

i'll post a pic of the model whenever i get my film developed.
